Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Welder for a position in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for using welding equipment to join metal components of various structures and tools, following safety guidelines and meeting deadlines. The successful candidate must have experience with welding processes and techniques, as well as have a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest quality welds. The salary is 900 AED per month.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Plan the layout of welding operations, select the required materials, and measure or mark parts according to specifications.
• Inspect the completed workpieces to check for defects and conformance with specifications using precision instruments such as micrometers or calipers.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments with gas torches, electric arcs, or other methods.
• Prepare surfaces of components prior to assembly by grinding off burrs or rough spots using hand grinders or portable belt sanders.
• Move heavy objects into place utilizing hoists or cranes when needed.
• Select the appropriate shielding gas depending on the type of material being welded.
• Maintain a clean workspace at all times, adhering strictly to safety regulations while operating machinery and power tools.
• Report any safety hazards observed in the workplace immediately to the supervisor on duty.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; completion of a welding certification program from a vocational school is preferred but not required.
• At least one year of experience in welding is preferred but not required; experience with TIG/MIG/ARC welding is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, sketches, drawings and technical manuals accurately and efficiently is essential.
• Knowledge of welding safety protocols including how to properly use protective gear such as helmets and gloves when operating machinery is necessary; must be able to pass basic safety tests administered by employer prior to beginning work duties .
• Excellent physical condition with good vision; must be able accept physically demanding tasks that involve heavy lifting throughout the day .
