Land Surveyor - Doha

We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting surveys of land and natural resources to provide accurate information for the development of infrastructure and other projects. The salary is 1800 QAR per month. We are open to considering foreign applicants for this role.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as civil engineering, geomatics, or surveying
• At least 5 years of experience in land surveying
• Familiarity with surveying equipment and software, such as Autodesk Civil 3D, GIS mapping software, and GPS systems
• Ability to read and interpret maps
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills with the ability to work independently or in teams
• Valid driver’s license.

Job Description:

The Land Surveyor will be responsible for conducting surveys of land features related to construction projects. This will include compiling data on elevations, contours, topographical maps, aerial photographs, geological information, hydrological data, soil characteristics, and other related features. The surveyor must also determine property boundaries by measuring distances between points using theodolites or electronic distance-measuring devices (EDM). Additionally, they will be responsible for creating reports based on their findings which can be used by engineers and architects during the design process.
