Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Executive Chef to join our team in Doha. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading the culinary team in our restaurant and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards. You will also be responsible for developing new menus, overseeing staff training, and managing costs to ensure profitability.
Responsibilities:
• Developing new menu items for the restaurant that reflect local tastes and worldwide trends
• Overseeing kitchen operations, including ordering of food supplies, scheduling of staff, and maintenance of equipment
• Ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to the highest quality standards
• Maintaining a safe work environment by enforcing food safety standards, as well as health and safety regulations
• Training kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and sanitation procedures
• Creating cost-effective menus that maximize profit margins while still providing high-quality food
• Developing relationships with local suppliers to ensure high-quality ingredients at competitive prices
• Establishing strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction with meals served.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or a similar position in a restaurant or hotel setting
• Experience developing cost-effective menus while still providing high-quality food products
• Knowledge of local cuisine and worldwide trends in food preparation and presentation
• Proven ability to manage a team of cooks while maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen environment
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail when it comes to budgeting expenses and managing costs effectively.
