Job Title: Chemist

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Chemist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and experiments to develop new products and processes that are safe, efficient and cost-effective. You will work closely with other members of the research team to interpret data, identify trends and develop solutions to address customer needs.

The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Chemistry or a related field, have experience in a laboratory environment and be highly analytical. In addition, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to communicate effectively with both colleagues and customers. The ability to think outside the box is essential for success in this role. We are open to considering foreign applicants for this position.

Responsibilities:
• Design, execute and analyze experiments for product development/improvement purposes.
• Monitor the quality of materials being used in experiments by testing them using appropriate methods such as titration or chromatography.
• Interpret data generated from experiments and draw conclusions on product performance or failure causes.
• Develop new products and processes according to customer needs while ensuring their safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure all experiments are conducted following safety protocols in the laboratory environment.
• Report findings of experiments to management on a regular basis for review purposes.
• Collaborate with other members of the research team on projects as needed.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a laboratory environment required; experience with chromatography or titration is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers as well as colleagues required; experience working with customers preferred.
