Job Title: Librarian
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: 1200 AED per month
Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing library services to patrons and assisting with research projects. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with a large variety of library materials. We are willing to consider an immigrant for this role.

Responsibilities:
• Manage library collections and book catalogs
• Assist patrons in finding materials or using online databases
• Provide reference services when needed
• Guide users on how to use library systems and equipment
• Participate in collection development activities
• Monitor circulation of library materials
• Organize events such as book clubs or author talks
• Prepare reports or presentations related to library services

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a librarian (or similar role) preferred but not required
• Knowledge of different types of information sources, including databases, catalogs, indexes, etc.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with a diverse range of people • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks at once • Computer literacy with knowledge of standard office applications • Ability to use modern technology such as online databases and scanners • Fluency in English is required; fluency in other languages is beneficial
