Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced cashier to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cash payments, providing exceptional customer service, and accurately accounting for all transactions. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of 1200 AED. We are open to considering foreign applicants as well.

Job Responsibilities
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
• Greet customers entering establishments
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
• Resolve customer complaints
• Answer customers’ questions and provide information on procedures or policies
• Bag groceries
• Calculate total payments received during a time period and reconcile this with total sales
• Monitor the customer service provided by junior staff members
• Perform other activities as needed or assigned by management.

Job Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 years of experience working as a cashier in a fast-paced environment is preferred
• Must be able to work independently and efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
• Possess excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with courtesy and tact
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles necessary for handling financial transactions
• Good math skills and knowledge of how to accurately process payments
• Attention to detail when counting money before and after shifts
