Job Responsibilities

• Designing mechanical components or systems utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Developing test protocols for prototype testing
• Preparing detailed reports on project progress
• Investigating parts failures or production issues
• Assisting with the development of new processes or technologies
• Monitoring production operations for quality control purposes
• Researching new materials or technologies for use in production processes

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in CAD software packages
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as welding, machining, injection molding and thermoplastic extrusion
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically
