Librarian

We are a public library in Abu-Dhabi and we are looking for a passionate Librarian to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our library’s collection of books, periodicals, and audio-visual materials.

The Librarian will be expected to keep up with the latest trends in library science, organize activities like book clubs and story times, and provide reference services to patrons. This role also entails cataloging new material, maintaining subscription databases, and supervising library assistants.

We are offering a salary of 1300 per month and we are open to considering an immigrant for this role. No prior experience is required for this position; however, knowledge of computer systems is advantageous.
