PHP Developer Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. You will be working as part of a team focussed on developing web applications and services using the latest technologies and standards. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a great team on a variety of projects, and receive an attractive salary of 1600. We are open to considering immigrant candidates for the role.

Job Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role include: Developing new web applications and services using PHP; Maintaining existing websites, applications and services; Optimizing code for maximum efficiency; Troubleshooting coding issues; Assisting with training junior developers; Working with other teams to ensure quality assurance within the development process.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) and at least 5 years of professional experience as a PHP developer. Experience in working with databases (MySQL, MongoDB etc.) is also highly desirable.

Skills

The ideal candidate must have excellent problem solving skills, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively on a project. They must also have extensive knowledge of programming languages such as HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, AJAX, XML/JSON etc., plus experience of using frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter or Symfony. Knowledge of version control systems such as GIT is also essential.
