The primary duty of the Light Driver is to transport people or goods safely and efficiently from one location to another. This includes loading and unloading cargo, following safety protocols, performing daily vehicle maintenance checks, monitoring traffic conditions, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, completing paperwork associated with deliveries, and providing customer service when necessary. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the vehicle by conducting regular inspections and making sure that it is roadworthy at all times.

To be considered for this position, you must have a valid driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated. A good knowledge of local roads is essential as well as excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You must also demonstrate good problem solving abilities as well as excellent organizational skills. Familiarity with basic computer programs (MS Office) would be beneficial but not essential. Finally, you should be able to work well independently as well as part of a team in order to complete tasks quickly and effectively.
