We at Al-Kuwait are looking for an experienced and dedicated Librarian to join our library team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about books, literature, and research, with a strong ability to help patrons of all ages access the resources they need.

The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. An excellent eye for detail is also essential as well as a comprehensive understanding of library policies and procedures. Knowledge of cataloging systems is also required in order to ensure accurate record keeping.

Responsibilities for this role include: organizing library materials, assisting patrons with locating materials, helping them access online resources, managing the circulation desk, providing reference services to patrons, maintaining library databases/catalogs, creating book displays and recommending titles to patrons. The librarian will also be responsible for leading book clubs and delivering reading programs to children or adults.

The successful candidate must have a degree in Library Sciences or a related field as well as previous experience in a library setting. Additionally the ability to work independently with minimal supervision is key for this role.
