Optometrist vacancy in Doha Qatar


We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Doha. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified optometrist to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing eye care services, including performing eye exams, diagnosing and managing ocular diseases, prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, and providing preventative vision care. The Optometrist will also provide patient education on maintaining ocular health and optical safety.

The ideal candidate should possess:
• A Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited college or university
• A valid optometric license in Qatar or the ability to obtain one
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of current eye care technology and treatments
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent clinical decision-making skills
• An understanding of ocular pharmacology and therapeutics
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) is preferred but not required.

The salary offered for this position is 1300 per month. We are also open to considering immigrant candidates with the right qualifications; please indicate your eligibility in your application as applicable.
