Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team in Sharjah. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ringing up sales quickly and accurately, and maintaining the cash drawer. We are offering a competitive salary of 1600 AED per month and we are open to considering foreign applicants.

Responsibilities
• Welcome customers as they arrive and answer their questions
• Greet customers upon entry and exit
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
• Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
Qualifications & Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a cashier is preferred but not required
• Good communication skills with customers and other staff members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and efficiency
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
