Our restaurant located in Dubai is looking for a Sommelier with 3 years of experience to join our team. Our ideal candidate should be passionate about wine, have extensive knowledge of grape varieties, wine production regions, and the different blends available. This person should be able to provide excellent customer service and must have the ability to make accurate recommendations based on customers’ individual preferences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting wines and overseeing the restaurant’s wine list, as well as providing guidance to customers in making their selections. They must also be capable of handling all aspects of wine service including storage, rotation, and decanting.

We are looking for someone who has superior organizational skills and is knowledgeable about proper serving temperatures and glassware selection. The applicant should also have strong communication skills in order to explain to customers the different elements of wine that contribute to its taste and flavor profile. Additionally, they must have an excellent understanding of food-wine pairing principles.

The position offers a salary of 1300 AED per month with potential for bonuses based on performance. We are prepared to consider applicants from abroad who have the relevant qualifications and experience necessary for this role.
