We are looking for a highly-motivated Pharmacist to join our team in El-Ain. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing quality pharmaceutical care, while ensuring customer satisfaction and providing quality patient care.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing medication therapy management services to patients in accordance with state pharmacy regulations. This includes selecting appropriate medications, preparing medication labels accurately, providing drug information to health professionals and members of the public, compounding medications as necessary, monitoring drug therapy regimens and counseling patients on the proper use of their medications. The Pharmacist must also ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.

Job Duties:

The Pharmacist will provide direct patient care services by dispensing medications accurately and efficiently; verifying accuracy of prescriptions; consulting with physicians regarding medication orders; monitoring medication regimens; clarifying dosing instructions; recognizing drug interactions; answering questions from patients about their medications; compounding specialized medicines; performing drug utilization reviews; preparing sterile products when needed; packaging and labeling medications; maintaining accurate records of all prescriptions dispensed; maintaining inventory control systems to ensure availability of necessary drugs and supplies and adhering to established policies regarding privacy laws.

Qualifications & Skills:
A degree in pharmacy or related field is required for this position, along with current licensure as a pharmacist by the appropriate regulatory agency in El-Ain. In addition to excellent customer service skills, the ideal candidate should also possess a thorough knowledge of pharmaceuticals including generic/brand name equivalency as well as dosing information. They should also have experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and proficiency with various computer software programs used in the pharmacy setting such as robotics software systems used in filling prescriptions or automated dispensing cabinets (ADC).
