Overview of Duties:
• Designing, developing, and overseeing the construction of various structures such as bridges, buildings, roads, dams, etc.
• Preparing technical drawings based on calculations made by using engineering software such as AutoCAD or GIS systems.
• Developing plans for the management of resources such as water supply systems, wastewater systems, etc., according to local regulations & building codes.
• Analyzing data from soil tests or surveys to determine the suitability of particular sites for construction projects.
• Supervising subordinate staff on various tasks related to civil engineering projects such as site visits or testing activities; ensuring all tasks are completed within set deadlines & budgets while adhering to safety standards & regulations set by government authorities & international organizations like OSHA or ISO 9000 standards etc.
