Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate should possess excellent pastry making skills and have a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious desserts, cakes, and other confections in a timely manner to satisfy customer demands. A salary of 1000 is offered to the successful candidate. We are willing to consider immigrant applications for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of pastries including cakes, tarts, cookies, mousses and more in accordance with established recipes;
• Adhere to food safety standards such as proper storage and preparation of ingredients;
• Ensure that all dishes are presented attractively;
• Create new recipes or modify existing recipes according to customer tastes;
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and order supplies from suppliers when necessary;
• Ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and organized at all times;
• Supervise the work of other members of the pastry kitchen staff as required;
• Work effectively with team members to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality dishes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification;
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a pastry chef or related role in a professional kitchen;
• Proven experience developing creative recipes or modifying existing ones;
• In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, flavor profiles and presentation styles;
• Excellent knife skills;
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; • Ability to lift heavy items such as bags of flour or large trays of pastries.
