Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Electrician to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate should possess excellent technical skills and a good understanding of electrical systems. This position offers the opportunity to work with all types of electrical installations and equipment, including wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and other components. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.

Job Duties

• Install new wiring or repair existing wiring in both residential and commercial buildings.
• Install lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, switchboards, outlets, and other electrical components.
• Read blueprints to determine where wires should be connected.
• Test circuits for continuity with testing devices such as an ohmmeter or multimeter.
• Monitor performance of systems to detect potential problems before they become dangerous or damaging.
• Perform routine maintenance on all electrical equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise with the electrical system to identify the cause of the problem and recommend solutions.
• Follow safety protocols when working with electricity to ensure safety of self and others around them.
Qualifications & Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Electrician certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working as an Electrician preferred
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) required
• Ability to read blueprints & schematics required
• Strong knowledge of electrical principles & concepts required
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team required
