Job Title: Librarian

Salary: 1000 AED/month

Job Description:
We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing library resources, ensuring that they are accessible to students and staff. This includes cataloging and shelving books, magazines, and other media, as well as assisting customers with locating materials. The successful applicant should have excellent organizational skills, a strong knowledge of library operations, and the ability to work independently. We are willing to consider an immigrant for this position.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in library software systems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of library policies and procedures within the UAE

Responsibilities:
• Organize and manage library resources (cataloging and shelving books, magazines, etc.)
• Assist customers with locating materials they need
• Monitor customer behavior in the library and ensure rules are followed appropriately
• Maintain current awareness of new materials added to the collection
