Job Title: Welder

Location: Doha, Qatar

Salary: 1400 QAR

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and capable Welder to join our team in Doha. The ideal candidate should have at least minimal welding experience and be able to work with a range of materials.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the appropriate welding process
• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered tools)
• Use manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and flux-cored arc welding (FCAW).
• Repair equipment components or structure by using auto-arc processes like oxy-acetylene or plasma arc cutting and gouging.
• Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications.

Requirements:
• Extensive knowledge of various welds and their properties including fillet welds, butt welds, lap joint welds etc.
• Ability to inspect welds for defects using visual methods as well as x-ray machines
• At least minimal experience in a related field
• Ability to work with a wide range of materials like steel, aluminum etc.
