Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to manage the culinary operations of our restaurant in Doha. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in similar positions with a well-known establishment. We are also ready to consider an immigrant for this position.
Requirements for the Candidate:
β’ Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Executive Chef or similar role
β’ Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
β’ Knowledge of food safety standards
β’ Strong knowledge of international cuisine
β’ Excellent communication skills
β’ Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
β’ Ability to train, motivate, and manage staff
β’ Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings and weekends
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
β’ Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities in the kitchen
β’ Design menus with seasonal ingredients and adjust them according to customer preferences
β’ Estimate food requirements and costs, maintain inventory levels, and order supplies when needed
β’ Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate all kitchen staff according to established standards
β’ Ensure that food is prepared according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards,and food preparation checklist β’ Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow health department regulations β’ Monitor operational costs and suggest methods for cost reduction
