Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to manage the culinary operations of our restaurant in Doha. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in similar positions with a well-known establishment. We are also ready to consider an immigrant for this position.
Requirements for the Candidate:
• Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Executive Chef or similar role
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Knowledge of food safety standards
• Strong knowledge of international cuisine
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to train, motivate, and manage staff
• Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings and weekends
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities in the kitchen
• Design menus with seasonal ingredients and adjust them according to customer preferences
• Estimate food requirements and costs, maintain inventory levels, and order supplies when needed
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate all kitchen staff according to established standards
• Ensure that food is prepared according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards,and food preparation checklist • Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow health department regulations • Monitor operational costs and suggest methods for cost reduction
