Salary: 1800 QAR per month

Job Overview:
As an Optometrist, you will provide professional eyecare services in accordance with internationally accepted standards. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing eye health conditions as well as providing advice on vision aids and optical products. You will also be responsible for promoting good eye health and well-being among the community.

Job Responsibilities:
• Conducting comprehensive eye examinations for adults and children to assess vision health
• Diagnosing visual problems and prescribing corrective lenses or other treatments such as vision therapy or rehabilitation exercises
• Analyzing test results and making recommendations for eyeglass lenses or contact lenses
• Educating patients on proper eye care techniques such as contact lens hygiene or safe sun exposure
• Communicating with other healthcare professionals about patient care

Requirements/Qualifications:
• Degree in Optometry from accredited university or college • Up-to-date knowledge of optometric standards and practices • Knowledge of ophthalmic instruments including tonometers, lensometers, keratometers, etc. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent communication skills • Professional demeanor • Commitment to quality patient care
