Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team in Sharjah. This position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance services, including repairs and installations of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. This role offers a competitive salary of 1100 AED per month.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, electrical components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of breakdowns and make repairs as necessary
• Assemble, install, test and maintain wiring systems in accordance with relevant regulations and safety standards
• Install power supply wiring and conduit such as EMTs (electrical metallic tubing) for newly constructed buildings or existing renovations
• Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment
• Test continuity of circuits using electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters or voltmeters
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools or power tools as required
• Follow all safety protocols when working with electricity

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering/Technology from an accredited institution • Minimum 3 years’ experience working as an electrician in residential/commercial settings • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems (e.g., AC/DC), safety protocols etc. • Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints • Ability to use a variety of tools (including soldering iron) • Good problem solving skills
