Job Description and Responsibilities:
• Prepare food according to recipes and other instructions
• Plan menus, order food supplies, monitor stock levels, and keep records of goods used
• Supervise kitchen staff to ensure proper food handling techniques are being followed
• Ensure that kitchen areas are clean, sanitary, and safe at all times
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience as a chef in a professional setting
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
• Proven knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices, food safety regulations, health codes etc.
• Impeccable organizational skills with attention to detail
