Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports and conducting audits in accordance with established procedures. This is a full-time position and the salary offered is 1000 AED per month. We are open to considering applicants from outside of the UAE.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Accountant's primary duties include but are not limited to: maintaining general ledger accounts; preparing financial statements; reconciling bank accounts; preparing month-end closing entries; managing accounts payable/receivable; creating invoices; overseeing payroll processing; conducting internal audits; making budgeting recommendations; ensuring compliance with applicable government regulations and company policies; and providing administrative support as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience/qualifications. Applicants must have at least 3 years of experience in accounting or similar roles, strong knowledge of MS Office applications, excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), ability to work independently or as part of a team, and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Candidates must be able to work well under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines. Experience with QuickBooks would be an advantage.
