Cashier vacancy in Sharjah UAE for unskilled workers


We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cash, credit card and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills, knowledge of POS systems and a good understanding of basic arithmetic. They must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:
• Receive payments by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits
• Issue receipts, refunds or change due to customers
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and there is adequate change
• Greet customers entering establishments
• Answer customers’ questions regarding items or procedures
• Scan goods and collect payments
• Assist with closing duties as needed

Requirements:
• Proven experience as cashier or in a similar role
• Knowledge of cash register operation and valid UAE-issued license for handling e-cash transactions (if required)
• Good math skills; comfortable working with numbers
• Excellent communication skills; ability to interact with customers professionally
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Immigrant status is accepted

Salary: 1700 AED per month
