Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery such as an excavator to dig trenches, holes and foundations
- Follow safety instructions at all times
- Monitor the performance of the machinery to ensure it is functioning properly
- Maintain the excavator in good condition through regular inspection and preventive maintenance
- Load and unload materials from the excavation site as needed

Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with an excavator or other heavy machinery
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work long hours in any weather condition
- Ability to follow safety regulations at all times
- Strong knowledge of excavation techniques
