Job Requirements:
• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder in a commercial or industrial setting
• Must have valid certification in welding technology and safety
• Must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Job Duties:
• Responsible for welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions according to blueprints, sketches and templates.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Set up all welding machines such as MIG welders, TIG welders, etc.
• Examine welds for accuracy using various tools such as calipers, rulers etc.
• Repair broken or cracked parts by welding them back together. • Inspect welded surfaces to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
