Job Requirements:
β€’ Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
β€’ Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder in a commercial or industrial setting
β€’ Must have valid certification in welding technology and safety
β€’ Must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Job Duties:
β€’ Responsible for welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions according to blueprints, sketches and templates.
β€’ Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
β€’ Set up all welding machines such as MIG welders, TIG welders, etc.
β€’ Examine welds for accuracy using various tools such as calipers, rulers etc.
β€’ Repair broken or cracked parts by welding them back together. β€’ Inspect welded surfaces to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
