Job Duties:
• Operate a crane to lift, move, position, and re-position loads safely in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Inspect crane for safety before operating it and make necessary repairs as needed.
• Ensure that all safety regulations are being followed at all times while operating the crane.
• Maintain accurate records of daily work activities as well as any maintenance performed on the crane.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous experience operating a crane is preferred but not required • Good understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to operating machinery • Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, blueprints etc. • Must be able to lift heavy objects safely and accurately
