Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Cashier to join our team in Bani Yas City. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, strong mathematical abilities, and be able to work with minimal supervision. As the Cashier, you will be responsible for making sure that customers receive the appropriate change when making purchases, following store policies and procedures regarding cash handling, and accurately scanning items. Additionally, you must be able to maintain a clean working environment by keeping your station tidy and organized.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Proven experience as a cashier or in a customer service role
• Excellent knowledge of basic accounting principles and cash handling procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with point of sale (POS) systems is an asset (e.g. Square or Revel)
• Willingness to consider immigrants for this role
