Job Title: Carpenter
Location: Khawr Fakkan, United Arab Emirates
Salary: AED 1300 per month

We are looking for a Carpenter to join our team in Khawr Fakkan, United Arab Emirates. We are open to hiring immigrants for this position. The ideal candidate must have minimal work experience and be able to perform basic carpentry tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
- Cut materials to size needed using saws and other power tools.
- Assemble wood pieces with nails, screws, staples or glue.
- Choose the type of wood or other materials for each job based on budget and availability.
- Fit wooden structures together using dowels or other joining techniques.
-Sand down rough surfaces of wood pieces and treat them with sealants or oils for protection from weathering or decay.
- Install finished products such as shelves, cabinets, doors and windows in the desired locations.

Needs:
- Basic understanding of carpentry tools and techniques.
- Ability to understand plans/drawings and execute them accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when necessary.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs).

Tasks:
- Receive instructions from supervisor about the project at hand.
- Read plans/drawings provided by supervisor and accurately measure materials accordingly before cutting them into the right sizes needed for the project. - Assemble pieces according to specifications provided in plans/drawings before installing them in their designated locations in the building/structure being constructed/renovated/repaired. - Make sure all safety protocols are followed during all stages of construction/renovation/repair process, ensuring no injuries take place during any task that is performed on site
