Librarian vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE for foreigners


We are looking for a dedicated Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of library services to our patrons. This position offers an attractive salary of 1300 and is open to foreign applicants.

The Librarian will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the library, including cataloguing and classifying books, ordering new titles, maintaining library records, and providing assistance to patrons. They will also be involved in organizing and managing library events such as book readings, lectures, and other special activities. Furthermore, they will assist with publicity efforts and collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the library.

Applicants should have excellent organizational skills and a commitment to customer service. A degree in Library Science or related field is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate must also be proficient in the use of computers and related software applications. Knowledge of a foreign language would be an asset.
