Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the library collection, ensuring items are up-to-date, well organized and accessible. This includes cataloging new acquisitions, categorizing materials in the library, helping patrons find materials they need, managing library holdings, and creating displays for special collections. The Librarian will also be expected to assist patrons with borrowing materials from the library and providing information about library policies. They will also be required to provide guidance on research topics as needed.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred
-Strong knowledge of library operations and procedures; Knowledge of cataloging systems is preferred
-Excellent organizational skills; Ability to multitask effectively
-Excellent communication skills; Ability to interact professionally with patrons of all levels
-Proficient in computer applications such Microsoft Office Suite
