Job Description:

We are looking for a Pharmacist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, as well as providing advice on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medicines. The Pharmacist will also be responsible for dispensing medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a degree in pharmacy or a related field along with relevant work experience in the same field. They should have excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English so they can effectively interact with patients, technicians, doctors, insurance companies, etc. They should also have strong organizational skills to ensure smooth operations in a busy pharmacy environment. In addition, they should have knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology to assess medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.

Responsibilities:

The Pharmacist’s primary responsibilities include dispensing medications to customers accurately; providing advice on the selection, dosage, interactions and side effects of medicines; maintaining accurate records of all prescriptions; monitoring drug therapies; collaborating with health care providers to provide the best possible care; verifying patient information; interpreting physician prescriptions; updating patient profiles; managing inventory levels; providing customer service; resolving customer complaints; and adhering to applicable laws and regulations regarding pharmaceuticals.
