Job Title: Phlebotomist

Location: Abu-Dhabi

Salary: 1400 AED per month

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Phlebotomist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for drawing blood from patients in a professional and efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Collect blood samples from patients using a range of techniques, including venipuncture, syringe extraction, capillary puncture and finger pricks.
2. Prepare samples for laboratory testing in accordance with industry standards and protocols.
3. Follow safety procedures to ensure the protection of both patient and staff.
4. Provide assistance to medical personnel when necessary and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and sterilized between uses.
5. Ensure the accuracy of data collected during the procedure by correctly labeling samples and accurately recording patient information on forms or electronic systems.
6. Maintain accurate records of all blood draws and provide reports as needed for laboratory or medical staff review.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications preferred but not required
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology, anatomy, safety considerations, and infection control protocols
