Job Title: Librarian
Location: Abu-Dhabi
Salary: 1300 AED

Job Description:
We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library, ensuring it is well organized and up to date. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide assistance and advice to library users, maintain library records, and promote the library's resources.

We are open to considering foreign applicants for this position. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, a good knowledge of library services and practices, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the library including cataloging, maintaining records, shelving books, and other duties as required.
• Provide assistance and advice to library users in locating materials or using electronic resources.
• Promote awareness of the resources available in the library through displays, workshops or other activities.
• Update library materials as needed including adding new books and publications or removing outdated material.
• Monitor usage of library materials and ensure proper handling of materials.
• Ensure that all safety regulations are followed at all times.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as budgeting or keeping records.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or related field is preferred but not required; equivalent experience may be considered
• Knowledge of current trends in libraries and electronic information services
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Salary & Benefits: 1300 AED/month plus benefits package
