Psychiatrist Vacancy – Doha, Qatar

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Psychiatrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This position offers an attractive salary of 1000 Qatari Riyal per month. We are open to considering immigrants for this role.

The ideal candidate should possess a medical degree in Psychiatry or a related field from an accredited institution and be licensed to practice medicine in Qatar. The successful candidate should have at least 5 years of experience working as a Psychiatrist, preferably in the Middle East region.

The Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing diagnosis and treatment services to mental health patients of all ages, in both individual and family settings. This will involve assessing the patient's condition based on medical history, physical examination, psychological tests, laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures. The Psychiatrist will also provide medication management services as required and refer patients to other health professionals if needed. Other responsibilities will include conducting research into new treatments and medications for mental health conditions, attending conferences related to the field of Psychiatry, supervising interns/residents and maintaining accurate patient records.

The successful applicant must have excellent organizational skills as well as strong communication skills in order to effectively interact with patients, families and other healthcare professionals. They should also demonstrate sensitivity when dealing with difficult or sensitive cases and possess the ability to work independently or within a team setting.
