Job Title: Accountant
Location: Al-Kuwait
Salary: 1100 KD

We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar role. A CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred but not required. Knowledge of MS Office applications including Excel and Microsoft Access is also required.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Document financial transactions by entering account information
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
• Answer accounting questions/inquiries from internal stakeholders/management
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Secure financial information by completing data base backups
