We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Al-Kuwait. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for reading and a strong drive to help others find the information they need quickly and efficiently. We offer a competitive salary of 1200 per month, and are ready to consider foreign applicants.

This role involves providing library services and resources to patrons in our library. You will be expected to manage both digital and physical collections, maintain records of checkouts, create new collections for patrons based on their interests, answer questions from users about library services and resources, provide instruction on how to use the library’s catalog or databases, assist with technology training classes or workshops when needed, help manage budgeting of library materials and equipment purchases. Additionally you will also be responsible for programming events such as book readings or author visits as well as maintaining the circulation desk area clean and organized.

To qualify for this role you must have excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, excellent customer service skills with an ability to work with people of all ages and backgrounds comfortably. You should also possess strong communication skills along with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment when needed. Previous experience in a library setting is preferred but not required. A degree in Library Science is preferred but not required either; however other relevant qualifications will be considered depending on experience.
