Optometrist Job in Doha

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing eye care services to patients from the local community. The role offers a salary of 1500. We are open to considering foreign candidates with the necessary experience.

Job Summary:

The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye care services to patients, including routine eye examinations, contact lens fittings and other eye care treatments. This role also requires the ability to diagnose ocular conditions and refer patients for further treatment as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out comprehensive eye examinations including refraction tests and tonometry tests
- Provide advice on managing ocular conditions such as glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration
- Fit contact lenses and prescribe eyeglasses
- Advise on lifestyle changes that may improve vision health
- Refer patients for further treatment when needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or similar field
- At least 1 year of experience working as an Optometrist
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients about their vision health

Salary: 1500
