Job Summary:

Essential Requirements:

A degree in Chemistry or similar field is required for this role, as well as experience in working with laboratory equipment, such as measuring instruments, scales and other materials used in chemical experiments. Additionally, the successful candidate must have excellent communication skills both verbally and written, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Duties:

The Chemist will be responsible for conducting experiments related to various chemical processes under the direction of the head of the department. This includes developing new methods of analysis for existing products; analysing samples; preparing reports on findings; maintaining accurate records; suggesting improvements; ensuring safety standards are met; and ensuring all experiments adhere to industry regulations.
