Duties and Responsibilities:
• Greet customers upon arrival and take their orders.
• Serve customers courteously, promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure that food is served according to the standards set by the restaurant.
• Prepare tables for meals and ensure cleanliness of dining area.
• Clean up tables after customers have finished dining.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding menu items and make recommendations when necessary.
Required Qualifications:
• Previous experience working as a waiter or waitress in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills with an outgoing personality.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of service quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift items weighing up to 20 lbs.
