Librarian – Al-Kuwait

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Librarian to join our team in Al-Kuwait. This is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact on our organization.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a library setting and be able to work independently. We are willing to consider applicants who are immigrants.

The primary role of the Librarian is to provide access to library materials, resources, and services in order to meet the needs of our patrons. The duties and responsibilities include assisting patrons with locating books, materials, and resources; cataloguing new materials; organizing shelves; maintaining the library’s collection; updating the library’s catalogue; providing reference services; and helping patrons use the library’s online resources.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, be well-versed in technology, have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. A degree or certificate in Library Science is preferred but not required.
