Job Summary:

Candidate Needed:
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience operating an excavator and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The successful applicant should have strong communication skills, be highly organized, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:
The main duty of the Excavator Operator is to operate excavators in order to clear land or dig trenches or holes, fill them with concrete or other materials as required. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all safety regulations are followed when operating the excavator and will be expected to report any potential hazards or issues encountered while on the job. In addition, they will need to inspect the equipment regularly for any signs of wear and tear or damage and will need to ensure that all maintenance is done on schedule as required.

Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, applicants must have at least 2 years of experience operating an excavator, possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized and detail-oriented, as well as have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, applicants must also have a valid driver’s license, basic knowledge of engineering principles and safety regulations related to excavation operations, basic knowledge of mechanical operations related to machinery used during excavation operations and basic knowledge of tools used during excavation operations.
