Description:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing library services and resources to the public. This includes cataloging and organizing materials, helping people find information, providing reference services, teaching classes, and maintaining library collections.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field and experience working in a library setting. They should also possess excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to work independently. We are willing to consider foreign applicants with no experience in this field.

Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of library operations including circulation desk activities and customer service functions
• Maintain library collections by cataloging materials properly and keeping them up-to-date
• Provide reference services by assisting patrons in locating materials needed for research or other purposes
• Teach classes on topics such as research methods, internet usage, and computer literacy
• Develop training programs for library staff members as well as other employees
• Organize special events such as book readings or author visits
