Job Responsibilities:
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood or other materials
• Construct building frameworks including walls, floors and door frames
• Assemble furniture such as cupboards and shelves
• Install fixtures such as windows and doors
• Fit architraves, skirting boards etc. using hand or power tools
• Finish wooden surfaces using paint or varnish
• Carry out related duties such as removing old fixtures or preparing surfaces for painting

Qualifications/Experience:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a carpenter in a professional setting
• Ability to read plans/drawings accurately
• Proficiency in using hand/power tools such as saws, hammers, drills etc.
• Ability to work quickly but accurately following instructions from supervisors
