Job Description:

We are looking for a Sommelier in Dubai to join our team! We are a prestigious restaurant and wine bar that is dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our guests. As our Sommelier, you will be responsible for selecting and recommending wines, managing and stocking our wine cellar, and providing exceptional service to our customers.

The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of wines and grape varietals, as well as an understanding of food pairings. You must have excellent communication skills in order to provide sound advice and recommendations to customers. You should also possess strong organizational skills to properly manage the cellar inventory.

Responsibilities:
• Selecting appropriate wines for the restaurant menu
• Recommending wines that will complement guests’ meals
• Stocking the wine cellar with new selections
• Maintaining an inventory of all wines in stock
• Keeping up-to-date on trends within the industry
• Ensuring that all glasses, utensils, and corkscrews are clean at all times
• Greeting guests with warmth and enthusiasm
• Answering customer questions about wine varieties and food pairings.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Sommelier or in a related position
• Extensive knowledge of various types of wines
• Understanding of food pairings
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills

Salary: 1800 per month (We are ready to consider an immigrant).
