Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Carpenter to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of work experience and be able to work under minimal supervision.

The goal of this position is to craft quality products from wood, including cabinets, furniture, interior trim, doors, and other components. The Carpenter must have a good eye for detail and take pride in their workmanship.

Responsibilities:
• Study plans or drawings to determine measurements and material requirements
• Cut and shape timber to specific measurements using various saws and tools
• Assemble cut or shaped components into finished products by using glue, dowels, nails or screws
• Install finished products such as cabinets, doors, windows etc. according to specifications
• Finish products with paint or varnish and other materials such as laminates etc.
• Test the strength of finished items with appropriate tools
• Repair existing structures in accordance with building codes

Qualifications/Skills:
• Proven carpentry experience is essential (minimum 1 year)
• Great attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to read technical documents/blueprints • Knowledge of safety precautions when working with tools and materials • Ability to use power tools such as saws, sanders etc. • Excellent physical condition – must be able to lift heavy objects • Hardworking and reliable attitude
