Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys of land features such as terrain contours, elevations, natural landmarks, roads, pipelines, and boundaries using specialized surveying instruments.
- Analyze survey data to produce accurate maps and plans for construction projects.
- Prepare technical reports for clients that include calculations on area measurements or the location of boundary lines.
- Attend pre-construction meetings with clients to discuss survey requirements.
- Inspect construction sites to ensure accuracy of survey data prior to project commencement.
- Operate computer software applications such as AutoCAD for mapping purposes.

Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred but not required; we are willing to consider applicants with minimal work experience in this field as well.
- Knowledgeable about applicable local laws and regulations related to surveying activities; familiarity with local building codes is also a plus.
- Advanced mathematical skills and ability to work accurately with figures; excellent problem solving skills necessary.
- Proficient in the use of surveying tools such as GPS systems, total stations, theodolites, etc.; experience in operating AutoCAD is an advantage.
