Position: Psychiatrist
Location: Doha, Qatar
Salary: 1500 QAR

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Psychiatrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the area of psychiatry.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills, an ability to work with people from all walks of life, strong problem-solving skills, excellent judgment and skill in making clinical decisions. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric care, including diagnosis and treatment for mental health problems such as depression, anxiety and other psychological disorders.

Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and treat mental health issues using evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychotherapy
• Develop treatment plans based on individual patient needs
• Monitor patient progress through regular evaluation sessions.
• Provide psychosocial interventions to help patients cope with stressful situations or traumatic events.
• Monitor medications prescribed to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress notes.

Qualifications:
• Medical degree in Psychiatry from an accredited university.
• At least three years of experience providing psychiatric care in a clinical setting or similar environment.
• Current licensure as a psychiatrist in Qatar or eligible for licensure in the state of Qatar.
• Proficiency in English (written & spoken). Fluency in Arabic is preferred but not required.
